Deep Place at the World Urban Forum (WUF9) Kuala Lumpur
Dave Adamson is delivering a Deep Place training event at the World Urban Forum (www.WUF9.org) on the 11th February.
WUF9 is the biennial conference of the UN Human Settlements programme. It takes place over the next week in Kuala Lumpur and is expected to attract up to 30,000 delegates. Following closely on the 2016 Habitat III conference in Quito, where the New Urban Agenda was adopted by 167 nations, the theme of the conference is Cities 2030, Cities for all: Implementing the New Urban Agenda.
The Deep Place approach to equitable and sustainable communities aligns with the New Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. Nearly 40 delegates have registered for the Deep Place training event, attending from Malaysia, Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
The event takes place 11am-2.00pm on Sunday 11th February in Room 406 at the KL Convention Centre. Full details and registration are at http://bit.ly/2BV9kfs
