Training at the World Urban Forum 9 Conference in Kuala Lumpur

February 20, 2018

Dave Adamson has recently delivered a Training Event at the World Urban Forum 9 (WUF9) conference in Kuala Lumpur ( 7-14th February). WUF9 is the biennial UN Habitat conference and this year attracted some 25,000 delegates. The theme of the conference was the implementation of the UN Habitat New Urban Agenda and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Alignment of the Deep Place method with both UN frameworks was recognised by the acceptance, against considerable competition, for inclusion in the Training Events delivered at the conference. Over 30 delegates drawn from a diverse range of occupations and nations attended the Training Event. The event explored the applicability of the Deep Pace method in Less Developed Countries where the challenges of poverty eradication and climate change mitigation require urgent solutions.
